BELA Bill Public Hearings: Read all about it!

Welcome, and we are glad you are here! This page contains information on the public hearings on the BELA Bill which are taking place in all provinces during the first six months of 2023.

This is an opportunity to stand up for the rights of your children, and get involved. If you are looking for a relatively low-pressure way to bring your side in the fight, this is it! You don’t even have to speak – just turn up and support the speakers as part of the audience. Bring along your friends and family, and come and enjoy this educational outing with your family!

We hope to see you there!

Practical arrangements per Whatsapp

The Pestalozzi Trust combined our efforts with the organizations of the Liberty in Learning Coalition (see https://www.liberty-in-learning.org/) in each province on the practical arrangements for the public hearings. We have created a WhatsApp group for each province.

These groups are to discuss things like: which hearings are we going to attend, where do we meet, what do we wear, who is going to do what, etc. Please invite as many homeschoolers as possible to come to the public hearings and join these groups! The provincial WhatsApp groups are open to everyone living in that province, not only members of the Pestalozzi Trust.

Below are the details of the public hearings and the links to the videos of these hearings.
